Took a 24-year old who couldn't do fractions and got him into an engineering degree course, which he completed. Took an 8 year old girl who'd been told she was 'backward' by her school and got her to the top of her class in maths. And more importantly, got them to enjoy maths and think it was an important and interesting thing to do. Taught maths at Cambridge University (Maths for Natural Sciences IA, 2014) Experienced University Tutor (Cambridge and Imperial, with groups from 2 to 15 people, for Maths and Economics) Was a paid private tutor for Maths and Physics A-level during my own A-levels.
